Light up your desk with a little Icelandic Christmas magic. In Iceland, the álfar are the hidden elves of the mossy hills, and folklore says they are busiest at Yuletide, when families light candles for them on New Year's Eve. Our Pixie Legends Álfar is a little blonde fairy with a berry-and-leaf crown and glowing golden wings. This fairy desk mat spreads her portrait across a dark evergreen forest full of fireflies, so every homework session or gaming night starts with a smile.
Why You'll Love It
- One big storybook illustration: Álfar sits in the center with a sparkle of magic in her hand. No repeating pattern, no text.
- Room for your setup: space for a keyboard, mouse, and a mug of cocoa.
- Stays put: the anti-slip natural rubber base keeps it steady while you type or draw.
- Built to last: hemmed edges help prevent fraying, and the sublimation print is part of the fabric, so it won't peel.
- Specs: 100% polyester top; natural rubber base; 0.12″ (3 mm) thick; choose 12″ × 18″ or 12″ × 22″ (size may vary by about 1″).

They're the álfar, or hidden people, who are said to celebrate and move house between New Year's Eve and January 6.
Is it one of the best gifts for girls who love fairies?
We think so! It's everyday fairy art that wraps flat and slips easily under the tree.
